Cannabis clubs in Zaragoza

Zaragoza has an unusual advantage: Aragón's association registry officially classifies cannabis associations. Here is how they work, what the law says, and what that classification means.

What the law says

No national law authorises cannabis social clubs. They are private, non-profit associations of adult members in a tolerated grey zone, and consuming or possessing in public is an administrative offence under Ley Orgánica 4/2015, with fines from €601. Membership is for adults only, usually on the sponsorship of an existing member.

The “USO CANNABIS” activity code

Aragón assigns every registered association an official activity code, and one of its values is “USO CANNABIS”. The registrar classified these associations; ZazaMap did not infer it from their names.

How the Zaragoza list was built

A registered address is shown only when it marks a ground-floor premises, and no address in the dataset is shared by two associations. That gives 44 entries, 7 of them on the map.
