South Africa licenses and registers no cannabis club, so there is nothing an authority could confirm and nothing we could verify. This entry comes from the club's own public business listing and says only that the club presents itself publicly at this address. It is not a statement that the club operates lawfully — the legal position is genuinely unresolved. Satisfy yourself before joining or visiting.
Private adult use, possession and cultivation became lawful with the Constitutional Court's Prince judgment in 2018, and were written into the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act 7 of 2024. That Act governs private conduct only: it creates no club, no permit and no register, and dealing remains a criminal offence. Clubs operate in the space between those two facts, and the courts have not resolved it — the Haze Club, a grow-for-members operation, was held by the High Court in 2022 to be dealing, and the appeal was withdrawn in 2024 after a confidential settlement, so there is no ruling either way.
